Annual Rope Showcase Holiday Extravaganza!
This month's Rope Bite will not be focused on education, but rather giving you all an opportunity to show off what you've learned over the past year!
We are looking for a variety of people who are interested in doing small rope performances in front of an audience. We encourage all skill levels, tying styles, and dynamics to show our community what rope means to you.
Performance Guidelines:
*Must be rope! :)
*15 minutes or less (You can pre-tie to help better fit the time slot)
*Must provide your own music (able to be plugged into an aux cord or sent in a Spotify playlist)
The performances are first come first serve, so reach out ASAP! Slots are limited and will fill up quickly!
If time permits, people are welcome to have multiple performances (including with different partners), however, we will be giving priority to first time couples/solo acts.
Reach out to @nirathekitten on fetlife to secure a performance spot or ask any questions.
Please Bring: Yourselves and some snacks!
Join us before class for tea time! We will begin at 7:30 at the Shed to have tea and social time. We will have some teas, and one electric kettle, but anyone is welcomed (and encouraged) to bring teas, teapots, teacups (especially cups!) or anything else.
Cost: Suggested $10 donation for class
Tea at 7:30pm
Showcase at 8pm
About Rope Bite:
Open to everyone interested in rope bondage, Rope Bite is a class, open discussion, and play session all rolled into one welcoming and open environment. It is our hope that rope tops, bottoms, and switches of all skill levels come together as a community and have the opportunity to share and develop their skills. Come when you can to what you can. It's going to kick ass!
The Orlando Rope Bite meets the first Friday of every month and is open to both members and non-members of The Woodshed!
What is a rope jam?
It's time to practice what you learned in class or to just practice. A lot of rope-y folks hang out and skill share and there are DMs to offer advice.
What does this cost?
Rope bite is all by donation and all donations go directly to The Woodshed. They let us use this space and their AC for no cost at all. If you are able to donate, we ask that you please do. It tells the Shed that you appreciate this space and class and that you want it to keep going.
