The Way of Tea: a look into Tea Service and how it can enhance your power exchange
During this two hour class, _subtle will cover the varying types and styles of tea, along with identifying how and when to choose appropriate teas for your companion(s). Additionally, sockz will introduce you to the traditional Japanese Tea Ceremony (Chanoyu) with a brief overview to its history and purpose. Follow along as she demonstrates the central steps to this ritualistic performance. Learn the importance of Host and Guest and ways to integrate these roles into your M/s or D/s dynamic.
Sockz’s knowledge of the Chanoyu and Japanese culture stems from her lifelong love of Japanese Art. She holds a BA in the History of Art with a focus on Ukiyo-e (Japanese woodblock prints), along with a four year study of the language and contemporary culture of Japan.
