ROUGH BODY PLAY

Sometimes I crave up-close and personal violence. The in-your-face heavy breath, sweat dripping grunts, deep thudding blows shuddering through flesh; there is a different sort of intimacy in rough body play.
Please join @Zenyth and @gingersnapsbk as we discuss and demonstrate some of the delightfully brutal ways we enjoy this physically intensive play style. We will cover strike zones, how rough body play fits into the R.A.C.K. philosophy, general safety concerns for tops and bottoms, first aid/recovery, and of course, all the fun stuff like kicking, slapping, punching, kneeing, and more.

Zenyth (she/her), or Z, subscribes to a variety of labels such as heteroflexible, polyamorous, switch, collared and tagged submissive, Amazon, crazy bear lady, and Chewbacca fan. She has been involved in the Jacksonville, FL kinky community since 2008. Her teaching experience includes classes on polyamory, heavy impact, blood impact, scene negotiations, and medical stapling. She has also enjoyed demo bottoming/co-teaching classes on violet wand, sounding, knife play, breath play, medical leeches, and cunt torture. As an educator, Z's priority is reminding other kinky folk, new and experienced, that BDSM is not one size fits all; as we each walk our own kink path we are constantly figuring out what works best as we grow and change.
BOTTOM:
Gingersnapsbk (she/her) is a ginger kitten beastie that stumbled down the rabbit hole approximately 5-6 years ago. She was involved in her home community in Savannah, GA with Savannah Underground, and has been involved in the local Jax community for the last 2 years. She's a part of the leadership board for StartHereJax and loves helping newcomers navigate the lifestyle.
She identifies with being a masochistic, switchy, twitchy babygirl with primal tendencies, biting habit, stuffie obsession, and small bratty streak. Her main kinky loves include rough body play/impact, rope, electric play, wrestling around, sharps, and just having fun with her kink in general.
This is going to be a hybrid class that takes place in person at The Woodshed itself as well as streaming on Zoom!
Due to social distancing guidelines and occupancy limitations, there are a limited number of seats available on site. If you would like to attend in person, it is still free but we need you to register for a ticket in advance to ensure we do not exceed our capacity.
If you would like to attend virtually, you do not need to pre-register at this time, however by registering you will receive a reminder email 90 minutes before the Zoom meeting starts with a reminder of the following information to log on.

Kink Basics is a series of classes that takes you through a variety of play techniques, soft skills, and foundational information that combine to become a well-rounded base of knowledge about doing and living what it is that we do in the wonderful world of kink!
Occurring on the first Saturday of every month, we'll be alternating between hard and soft skills, with each class showing perspectives relevant to tops and bottoms, dominants and submissives, and kinksters who just want to have fun!
